Tree Time Special

In Santiago, probably because of the pollution, there are trees everywhere. In the parks, a lot of work has been done to make the trees very ornamental. For example, judicious clipping back YEARS ago, has left a legacy of some real beauties. Others just have great flowers or leaves. As mentioned before, they all smell great. Its possible to get a book on the trees of Chile, published by the Gardening authorities (??!) or whatever, here. However, the office is open only 9-5, Mon-Fri...so it will be a slow Google Images effort to get the correct names. In the meantime...pictures-eye-oh... Oops and also, 80% of landscaping includes white roses...everywhere....so thats why they're there..
